At Highfields, at 99 Crooked Rd, Romsey an avenue of mature box elder trees froms a marvellous green tunnelled entrance to an extensive and beautiful country garden with an emphasis on structure and seasonal interest. Rick Eckersley originally designed the garden over 20 years ago for his parents and the well known designer has recently recisited it to create a new area. Highfields will be open 10 am - 4.30 saturday and Sunday $7 entrance fee and children under 18 admitted free. At aKitchen Garden school, children gain a hands on understanding of the natural world and its beauty through their very own kitchen garden. Paul and Stephanie two leaders in their fields will be available throughout the weekend to answer questions, sign books and discuss their work. $20 per adult children under 12 free
