When The World Was Green: A Chef's fable
Friday, 3 August 2012
7:30 PM
As part of Words in Winter 2012 Murmur Collective proudly presents a dramatised reading of ‘When the World was Green: A Chef’s Fable' by American playwright Sam Shepard. After their explosive sell out season of Beckett plays in 2008, Ivor Bowen and Devon Taylor return to the Daylesford stage in this intriguing and disturbing story of a condemned man's last thoughts as told to a journalist. By sharing their stories, these two characters discover an unquenchable connection. Are they who they say they are? Why have they searched for so long? Do they exist purely for the hunt? Using video, projections and lighting to highlight the reading, Murmur Collective will transform Door 3’s multi-media room into a feast for the senses. Tickets $15 full/ $12 concession Tickets sold at the door.
ps we are hiring a blow heater for the event so don't worry about your toes being cold....
