Zoophyte Fri 6 July
Touted as one of the more progressive and exciting bands to emerge from the Melbourne independent music scene

$15 plus bf general admission 8.30pm

$50 plus bf dinner and show 6.30pm

Yeah, you’ve probably heard of Melbourne band Zoophyte - but if you think you know their music, think again. Since bursting onto the scene in 2004, the band forged an enviable reputation as a blistering live act, which they followed up in the studio with their acclaimed 2007 debut, Another Point of View. After clocking up a few thousand kilometres playing sold-out
shows across the country, the guys decided to take a break,
do some soul searching and start work on their highly anticipated follow-up.
It’s a history that stands the band in great stead as they move to
a new phase with a revamped line-up, intensified rock sound and
kick-ass attitude.
Make no mistake – gone are the folk/pop/funk hybrid tracks that
defined Zoophyte of old. In their place is a guitar-heavy, alt-rock
tour-de-for

Daylesford Farmers Market
Oval, Daylesford Primary School, Vincent Street, Daylesford

The original purpose of a Farmers Market was to re-connect the community to people who produce their food for their mutual benefit and enjoyment. Daylesford Farmers Market showcases great local produce straight from the farmgates and cellar doors for you to come to try and buy.

As the markets have grown in number and strength over the past 7 years RFM is taking the next step to assist shoppers to have a better understanding and knowledge of the food they eat. We are introducing information boards on each stall which will tell patrons, where the food is produced, when it is picked, what’s in it, whether it’s organic or not and the food miles it has travelled to the market from and any other information that helps people have a greater connection to their food.

This next step will inform people not only where the food comes from but what is in their food and who produces it.
