| Each year Council prepares a budget to determine the amount of money it needs to raise from rates and charges so it can continue to fund and improve facilities and services for the Shire.
The revenue required from rates is divided into the Capital Improved Value (CIV) of all rateable properties to determine a rate in the dollar.
Individual rates are then apportioned according to the value of your property.
