Community Transport Grants Now Open
The Front SEEAT Transport Connections Project provides a total of $4,000 for Round Two of the 2012/13 Community Transport Grants in Hepburn Shire. The purpose of these grants are to assist community groups in providing community based transport solutions. A standard grant may be sought for the full or partial amount required, up to a total of $500. A sustainable grant may be sought for the full or partial amount required, up to a total of $2,000.

Grants may be sought for the hiring of buses, the purchasing of tickets for public transport services, such as buses, trains or trams, the use of taxis or any combination of these. Grants are also available to groups that have innovative transport ideas or ways of promoting or facilitating transport in the shire.

The program guidelines and application form are available for download in the section below. Applicants are encouraged to read the Community Transport Grant program guidelines and application form carefully before making a submission. Applications close at 5pm on 31 March 2013.

Hepburn Shire Council fosters innovation and supports new and better ways of living, so please contact the Transport Connections Coordinator if you have a great idea but are unsure whether your initiative fits within the intention of this grant.
