The Hepburn Shire Council, together with Country Fire Authority, Victoria Police and Department of Sustainability and Environment are undertaking a collaborative approach to bushfire planning community consultation.
Through representation of each agency at a series of community information sessions, they seek to address and support the community with any fire planning, preparedness, response and recovery questions or concerns.
The community will be provided an opportunity to review and submit feedback on the Hepburn Shire Municipal Fire Management Plan and Township Protection Plans for high-risk communities including Clunes, Creswick, Daylesford, Hepburn/Hepburn Springs, Glenlyon and Trentham.
