Grass Identification Workshop - Clunes

This field day is a practical session for beginners to learn more about the grasses that populate your property and surrounds. Using the 'Grasses of Central Victoria' guide, Hepburn Shire's biodiversity officer, a skilled grass identification practitioner, will show you:

• How to use our new grass identification guide in the field.
• Traits of grassland plants.
• Identifying native and exotic plants in the field.
• Identifying important weeds in the region.

Be aware this is an outside event, so make sure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and a minor level of fitness and mobility is required.
