The Civic Event commences at 6.00pm at the Town Hall. This event will be closed to the public as numbers are limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Important Event Information:

Assisted by the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council, these events will be run in a COVIDSafe way.

As per the Victorian COVID Safe Public Events Framework, all of these COVIDSafe Events has been registered with the Department of Jobs Precincts and Regions (DJPR). The attached COVIDSafe Event Checklist outlines the measures which are currently and will be implemented pre, during and post event.

It is important that if you are attending the event you note the following information:

  1. Each attendee is asked to do a symptom self-assessment prior to leaving home and not attend if they are unwell or have been instructed to isolate or quarantine.
  2. Attendees must maintain at least 1.5m physical distance between those from other groups at all times.
  3. To minimise movement, attendees must stay within their allocated spaces or seats where practical. We are encouraging you to bring your own deck chair or picnic blanket.
  4. Requirements for face covering, observe cough etiquette and personal hygiene measures.
