New initiative to support local business

Council’s Economic Development team are offering a new service commencing the first week of November.

An officer will be on site at Clunes, Creswick and Trentham to engage and assist local businesses on their doorstep. Businesses are encouraged to drop in or arrange a visit to their business. Officer attendance will be as follows:

The Warehouse – Clunes – 1st Thursday of the month (10am to 4.30pm) – 36 Fraser Street, Clunes

Creswick Hub – 2nd Thursday of the month (10am to 4.30pm) – 68 Albert Street, Creswick

Trentham Library – 3rd Tuesday of the month (10am to 4.30pm) – 13 Albert Street, Trentham

Business eNewsletter

Council has a new bi-monthly business eNewsletter. The newsletter will provide relative information about opportunities, business events, workshops and more, both on a local front and further afield.

Businesses who may not already be engaged with Council’s Economic Development & Tourism department are encouraged to sign up to receive the newsletter.

There is also an opportunity for local businesses to promote themselves to other businesses in the region on the local business feature.
