Calling for Nominations – White Ribbon Ambassadors & Committee Members

White Ribbon is Australia’s only national, male led Campaign to end men’s violence against women.  The White Ribbon vision is that all women live in safety free from all forms of men’s violence.  The Hepburn White Ribbon Committee was established in 2016 and aims to work with the community to create social awareness and cultural change around the issue of violence against women.

The Hepburn White Ribbon Committee is seeking expressions of interest for the following positions:

Committee Members:

  • To support the actions of White Ribbon Australia
  • Provide strategic direction in regards to the projects/initiatives of the Hepburn White Ribbon Committee
  • Attend and coordinate local White Ribbon events
  • Attend quarterly Committee Meetings
  • Participate in training modules

Ambassadors:

  • To support the actions of White Ribbon Australia and the Hepburn White Ribbon Committee
  • Attend and coordinate local White Ribbon events
  • Participate in training modules
