At the October last meeting, Council resolved to hold all 2020 Council meetings at the Senior Citizens’ Room in Daylesford.
Why the one location?
Council meetings in one location will give the community more consistency and we will be able to look at technology improvements such as the live streaming of meetings. It also reduces the cost to Council of set-up and pack-down associated with moving meetings around the Shire. We continue to encourage the community to engage with us through the public participation process at meetings.
We are also introducing Listening Post events for every Ward in the Shire to give the community an opportunity to engage with us in a less formal setting. At a Listening Post you will be able to drop in and speak with a representative from different Council departments, including rates, community safety, community development, events, planning and more.
For more on Listening Posts visit www.hepburn.vic.gov.au/listening-posts/.
All ordinary meetings will be held at the Daylesford Senior Citizens Rooms (rear of 76 Vincent Street Daylesford):
