From 15 February 2016 over the counter customer service in Daylesford is being delivered from the Duke Street centre, allowing Council to improve service and enhance the experience with the community.  Council adopted a transition to one customer service centre in Daylesford at its October 2015 meeting. 

The transition to one service centre in Daylesford will assist with providing consistent information to the community and improve customer service through a one-stop-shop approach to customer service.

Enhanced technology and telecommunications systems in the Duke Street office will improve customer service, and link customers attending service centres in Creswick and Clunes with officers in Daylesford.  The Duke Street Customer Service Centre will also provide improved physical space, particularly when dealing with confidential matters.
