The Hepburn Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan 2018-2021 outlines the commitment of the Council to protect and enhance biodiversity across the Shire. The strategy includes an action plan with 13 strategic focus areas and 31 actions intended to provide on ground protection and enhancement of biodiversity, support well informed decision making, increase community awareness and support partnerships to improve biodiversity for future generations.
This revised draft incorporates feedback received throughout 2018. Since the previous public display in September, substantial additional background information and mapping has been added, incorporating feedback from community, DELWP and Dja Dja Wurrung.
This final exhibition period will take place between 12 October and the 24 October 2018. We are still open to making minor modifications and appreciate your ideas on helping implement the strategy or even for the eventual revision of the strategy in a few years time.
Comment can be made by the close of business on Wednesday 24 October 2018 to firstname.lastname@example.org or in writing to Biodiversity Officer, Hepburn Shire Council, PO Box 21, Daylesford 3460.
