The Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan 2017-2021 aims to strengthen the capacity of people in the Hepburn Shire to protect, enhance and restore biodiversity across the shire. The strategy contains thirty three actions that are proposed to create partnerships, increase education and awareness and to provide protection and enhancement on biodiversity matters to improve biodiversity for future generations and to support well informed decision making. The strategy builds on the Hepburn Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan background paper.
Council is seeking community feedback on its DRAFT Biodiversity Strategy 2017-2021. Any person may make a written submission to Council on the Draft Biodiversity Strategy 2017-2021 should do so by the close of business on Friday 10 November 2017. Submissions can be made to firstname.lastname@example.org or in writing to Manager Planning, Hepburn Shire Council, PO Box 21, Daylesford 3460.
