HELPING HEPBURN

Looking after yourself and those near and dear to you is paramount.

Council is working in partnership with Central Highlands Rural Health and other key stakeholders to investigate and implement initiatives and resources that can support the health and wellbeing of our local community in response to COVID-19.

We have a directory of support services that may be of assistance: Click here for a directory of important contacts and numbers for COVID-19 support services

The Department of Health and Human Services has launched a support line for people feeling lonely or socially disconnected: 1800 675 398
(and press 3)

Calling this number will put you in contact with support from the Australian Red Cross and local community organisations. The service is free and available to all Victorians.

Council’s Community Connector is also available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on 5321 6457 or via email at coronavirus@hepburn.vic.gov.au

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) website has a wealth of information. Visit www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/mental-health-resources-coronavirus-covid-19 and you will find information and tips on staying positive, calm and healthy, tips on how to talk to children about the pandemic as well as many links to mental health resources.
