We are a small rural council delivering services to the community. About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our leadership team, who has extensive experience leading multiple and varied sized projects within the infrastructure and construction areas. The successful candidate will oversee major projects that Council is facilitating in accordance with Council’s developed project methodology ensuring legislative and compliance standards are met. This is a great opportunity for a project manager with several years’ experience, who is looking to apply their leadership capabilities to deliver high quality projects with our experienced team of Project Managers in a timely manner and within the scope and constraints of the project.
The successful candidate will have passion and enthusiasm for the infrastructure and construction projects with the ability to take initiative and ownership of the process and outcomes. You will have highly developed planning and organisational skills which will assist you to succeed in this role. Your effective communication which is clear and concise is delivered in a professional and respectful way, to ensure stakeholder engagement and community consultation is maintained. For this dynamic role, you will require a can do attitude, strong problem solving abilities and a commitment to workplace safety. The successful candidate will join the Hepburn Shire Council leadership team.
