About the role
We are seeking a qualified project manager to join our team, who has extensive experience leading multiple and varied sized projects within the infrastructure and construction areas. The successful candidate will oversee major projects that Council is facilitating in accordance with excellent project management practices ensuing legislative and compliance standards are met. This is a great opportunity for a project manager with several years’ experience, who is looking to apply their leadership capabilities to deliver high quality projects in a timely manner within the scope and constraints of the project.
The successful candidate will have passion and enthusiasm for the infrastructure and construction industry with the ability to take initiative and ownership of projects. You will have highly developed planning and organisational skills which will assist you to succeed in this role. Your effective communication which is clear and concise is delivered in a professional and respectful way, to ensure stakeholder engagement is maintained. For this dynamic role, you will require a can do attitude, strong problem solving abilities and a commitment to workplace safety. The successful candidate will ideally have proven leadership experience that is of a proactive and engaging nature.
