Jointly funded by Council and the Victorian Government, the Maternal and Child Health Service is a free service, delivered through Hepburn Health Service, available to all families with young children.
Families can access 10 key ages and stages consultations for all children from birth to pre-school age, parenting support groups, information and referral to other child and family services and a 24 hour support counselling and advice line.
Hepburn Maternal and Child Health Service cares for families with infants and young children, promoting child and family health and wellbeing. Maternal & Child Health Centres are co-located within Hepburn Health Service at:

Families usually attend the closest centre, however you are welcome to attend any centre. The Maternal and Child Health service in Hepburn Shire is staffed by nurses registered with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). The nurses have undertaken study in General Nursing, Midwifery and Post Graduate study in Family and Child Health.
