Pursuant to Section 189 of the Local Government Act, 1989, Council gives notice that it intends to sell both vacant and improved land at the following locations:
- 10 Albert Street Daylesford (Duke Street Offices) (lot 1 in Title Plan 223895U formerly known as part of Crown Allotment 9 Section 10 Township of Daylesford Certificate of Title Volume 8209 Folio 852 AND lot 1 in Title Plan 242602G formerly known as part of Crown Allotment 8 Section 10 Township of Daylesford Certificate of Title Volume 8226 Folio 219);
- 59 Main Road Hepburn (Old Hepburn Depot) (lot 1 in Plan of Subdivision 420475H Certificate of Title Volume 10472 Folio 552); and
- 1 Bleakley Street Daylesford (Vacant land) (Crown Allotment 14B Section 27 Township of Daylesford Certificate of Title Volume 5119 Folio 611 AND lot 1 in Plan of Subdivision 607306S Certificate of Title Volume 11063 Folio 343).
Plans showing the location of each property are available for download below or by visiting one of Council’s Customer Service Centres located at 10 Duke Street Daylesford, 68 Albert Street Creswick or 36 Fraser Street Clunes.
The properties are deemed surplus to Council’s requirements. Whilst all proposals for the sale of the properties will be considered by Council, Council will also consider proposals from parties that may be interested in leasing of one or more of the properties.
Council may choose to sell the properties by private treaty, tender or by public auction.
Any person may make a written submission as provided by Section 223 Local Government Act, 1989, on this proposal.
Submissions must be lodged by 16 September 2016, state whether the person desires to be heard (or represented) in support of their submission and be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer Hepburn Shire Council PO Box 21 Daylesford 3460 or emailed to email@example.com.
