The Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission (the Commission) is an independent statutory body, with responsibilities under the Equal Opportunity Act 2010, the Racial and Religious Tolerance Act 2001, and the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act 2006.
The Reporting Racism Tool provided by the Commission to support Victorians in understanding and standing up for their rights.
The tool has been designed to make the process of reporting to the Commission easier and more accessible for everyone. If you are confronted with bigotry, discrimination and/or racism, you can make a short, confidential report directly to the Commission through this tool.
Making a report is not the same as lodging a complaint but if you leave your email contact, an Information and Engagement Officer will contact you to discuss your report.
