Dealing with household and commercial waste is a growing problem for all councils. As our community grows and we consume more, there is a risk that we increase our waste production. Councils play a primary role in waste management by providing waste disposal and recycling services, including kerbside collections.

Latest news: Truck Art Competition winners

Council ran it’s first truck art competition in 2021 to celebrate the arrival of a new kerbside collection service being provided by Suez Recycling and Recovery. The competition asked students to draw pictures representing the theme ‘reducing waste to landfill in Hepburn Shire’ and was open for kindergarten and school students who attend schools in Hepburn region.¬†
