Council is preparing a Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve Masterplan to guide future improvements, remediation and new works within the reserve.
Mayor, Cr Tony Clark, said that the draft Masterplan focuses on the grounds, walking trails and visitor amenities, and does not include the Hepburn Bathhouse, which is managed separately.
“There is limited funding available to carry out the actions, but the Masterplan gives Council a clear plan to apply for future grants and push for investment in the reserve,” said Cr Clark.
A copy of the draft Masterplan and proposed actions is available on Participate Hepburn, and Council is encouraging community members to review the document and share their feedback.
“The Masterplan reflects ideas raised during earlier community engagement, and this consultation phase provides an opportunity for the community to comment on how those ideas have been incorporated,” said Cr Clark.
Residents and visitors can provide feedback by completing the online survey at www.participate.hepburn.vic.gov.au/hmsr or by attending one of the following drop-in sessions:
Community feedback is open until midnight on Friday 6 February.
