Councillor planning interactions

Section 6.8 of the Code of Conduct has been updated effective 1 November 2023 and now states: 

That within seven days of the interaction, Councillors must disclose all interactions with planning applicants (applicant and their representatives), developers and objectors, via any and all means, and these details are to be recorded on a register. 

  1. Subject to privacy requirements, the register will be made public each month via Council’s website, and include details of interactions disclosed within the previous 12 months; and, 

A register has been created to collect and collate Councillor interactions with persons and or companies associated with statutory and strategic planning matters.
