The Emergency Services Panel brings experts together to help residents prepare for emergencies. Residents are invited to hear directly from the organisations that support communities before, during and after emergencies at a free Emergency Services Panel on Tuesday 18 August 2026.
Hosted by Hepburn Shire Council, the panel will be bringing together representatives from emergency services, essential service providers and government agencies to share practical advice, answer questions and help residents better prepare for a range of emergencies.
Ron Torres, Director Development and Community Safety, said that bringing agencies together in one place provides a valuable opportunity for residents to build their understanding of emergency preparedness.
“Emergencies can happen at any time and often without warning. This event gives people the chance to hear directly from the organisations that work together to keep our communities safe, understand what support is available, and learn simple steps they can take now to be better prepared," said Mr Torres.
