Issues with rates notices

Council and ratepayers have been impacted by two separate printing errors by our contractor in the latest distribution of rates notices.

 

While overall balances shown on notices was correct, ratepayers eligible for the Victorian Government Pensioner Rebate did not have this item displayed in the detailed breakdown. Impacted ratepayers will be reissued with an updated rates notice shortly.

 

Some ratepayers may also have received the ‘Community update’ flyer missing some information in the centre panel. Council’s approved proof was correct and included the information.
