Hepburn Shire Council has launched its new website, offering users a more streamlined and intuitive online experience.

Council Chief Executive Officer Bradley Thomas said the new site was redeveloped in response to feedback received during the Hepburn Together project, with the aim of making it as user-friendly as possible.

“I’m so pleased with our new site, which offers improved search functionality, clear and well laid-out online forms and information that we know our community wants,” said Mr Thomas.

“We have based the website redevelopment on the analytics of our previous site. We know that some of our most popular pages are jobs, planning and building, so we’ve really focused on tailoring the site to ensure these sections guide and help users to make it as easy as possible for people to find what they are looking for,” he said.

“We invite the community to take a look at the site and let us know what they think. The search function works really well, so I’d encourage everyone to jump on the site, search for something to do with Council and see how you go,” said Mr Thomas.

The website was developed with local government website specialists, OpenCities, who have worked with a range of local Councils across Australia, including Morning Peninsula Shire, Mansfield Shire Council, Willoughby City Council, Gold Coast and many more.
