Council has received several questions and comments regarding outdoor dining and trading permits, specifically around Burke Square.
Outdoor dining is an important amenity across our Shire and we acknowledge its importance to both community and businesses.
We are preparing to complete a comprehensive review of our Outdoor Dining and Trading Policy over the next six months, which will include the opportunity for community and businesses to help shape the policy.
We appreciate both community and business interest and will communicate how to get involved on our regular communication channels.
While this process is underway, permits will continue to be issued in line with the current policy.
