The annual road reseal program commenced this week with the resealing of Kingston Road between Kingston-Allendale Road, Creswick Newstead Road, the final seal on Lone Hand Road and the resealing of Forest Hill Road in Newlyn.

The road reseal program is the largest annual rolling budget that Council manages and is procured through a group procurement with 6 neighbouring councils. Total duration of works on Hepburn Shire roads is estimated at 7-8 days over the next 6 weeks.

The program will deliver 14.4km of reseal. Resealing roads is a maintenance activity, and where possible, roads are grouped together based on condition to achieve better value for money for Council.
