Unfortunately, the Blue Atlas Cedar (Cedrus atlantica ‘Glauca’) at the entrance to the Creswick VIC must be removed due to its deteriorating condition.

Recent storm damage has significantly compromised the tree’s structure and shortened its expected lifespan. Further assessment has revealed internal decay and weakened canopy branches, reducing overall stability.

The tree will be removed in mid-April, and a suitable replacement planted as part of Council’s annual Tree Planting Program in July.
