Stay safe in the heat with practical tips from Ambulance Victoria on heat-related illness and when to act, followed by a free morning tea.

Hot weather can take a real toll, especially on older adults, young children, and those with existing health conditions.

Join Ambulance Victoria for a practical session on staying safe during extreme heat. You’ll learn how to recognise the signs of heat-related illness, simple ways to stay cool and hydrated, and what to do if you or someone else becomes unwell.

Paramedics will share easy, everyday tips to help you prepare for hot days, look after vulnerable people, and know when it’s time to seek help.

This session is suitable for everyone and designed to be relaxed and easy to follow. Stay afterwards for a free morning tea and a chance to connect with Ambulance Victoria staff and other community members.
