ChillOut Festival

ChillOut is Australia’s longest running and largest regional pride festival. The festival started in 1997 and is now recognised as an important and celebrated LGBTIQ+ event, particularly for regional people.

CresFest

CresFest returns in 2023 for a weekend of joyful musical encounters in the forested gold rush town of Creswick, nestled between Daylesford and Ballarat.

Savour two of life’s transformative pleasures, music and dance, amid Creswick’s historic architecture and wooded surrounds. The whole town (gold rush-era buildings, local pubs, cafes and outdoor venues) come alive with intimate performances by celebrated contemporary folk and roots artists and countless ways to join in the fun: blackboard concerts, sessions, family bushdance, busking festival, youth stage, music and dance workshops for all-ages, locals talent quest, and more.

Clunes Booktown

The annual Clunes Booktown Festival began in 2007 and features more than 60 book traders from around Australia. Street entertainment, food and wine, music and writers' talks add to the festivities. In April 2012, Clunes gained International Organisation of Booktowns membership, becoming the 15th International Booktown and the only one in Australia. 

The Great Trentham Spudfest

You’d never guess potatoes could be this much fun! This annual festival is a wonderful way to recognise Trentham’s potato-growing heritage. Spudtastic fun, food, music, games, entertainment and activities galore!
