At the meeting this evening in Clunes, Council adopted a plan re-home geese from Lake Daylesford and to communicate this decision. Domestic geese at the Lake (which have bred over time) are impacting the natural environment and reducing amenity for community members and visitors. The geese will not be harmed and will be re-homed by a contractor with experience in similar removals from locations around Victoria, including Coburg Lake. Council staff will be onsite on the day of the re-homing to answer questions from the community. Re-homing will be undertaken at a suitable time over the coming weeks to best reduce stress to the geese. ... See MoreSee Less

Remember to log a service request if you come across issues on Council managed roads or land (hscsimplicity.knack.com/putting-the-customer-first-v2#newrequestpublic/). For after-hours Council emergencies call 0419 583 573. ... See MoreSee Less

There were activities such as high ropes, canoeing and the giant swing. It was an extremely successful day. Well done to the all the young people involved in the program for challenging themselves 👍 ... See MoreSee Less
