The Glenlyon Recreation Reserve offers a beautiful river side setting on the Loddon River. Taste the region's famed mineral water from the Glenlyon Mineral Spring, have a BBQ or picnic or bring your four-legged friend (must be on a leash at all times) to explore the area. The reserve is also home to the annual 'Glenlyon Mixed Sports Day' held on New Year's Day. This family fun-filled day offers unique events such as a bull-boar eating competition and the world mineral water drinking championships. The reserve also hosts an annual swap meet and other events throughout the year.
