🎉Congratulations to Daylesford and District Horticultural Society, Daylesford Lawn Tennis Club, Creswick and District Senior Citizens and Sprung Circus Inc, who will share in $8,559 as part of Council’s first round of grants for 2021/2022.
The projects include a celebration of spring; a display of historic images, information and memorabilia related to the Daylesford Lawn Tennis Club; an update to the seniors’ kitchen at Creswick; and an end of term performance for young circus performers. Were looking forward to seeing the results of these great projects! 👏 Dont forget our next round of community grants open on 1 October. Find out more at http://ow.ly/511050GeZK8.

We’d love to see the results of the nearly $5m worth of funding allocated to Creswick Trails and the Hammon Park redevelopment. Mary-Anne Thomas MP, it’s been 1633 days since the initial funding announcement was made by your department.

📢We have prepared our ten-year Financial Plan and now its your turn to tell us what you think. The plan has been shaped by community feedback received as part of the Hepburn Together project including the Community Panel, online surveys, community pop up sessions and collaborative workshops. Take a look at the draft Long-term Financial Plan and fill out a survey to let us know your thoughts at https://participate.hepburn.vic.gov.au/hepburn-together/long-term-financial-plan. Submissions close at 5pm on Wednesday October 6.

Does the financial plan include actually spending the nearly $5m allocated to the Creswick MTB trails and Hammon park upgrade? 1632 have passed since the initial announcement and zero trails have been built.

Gday Lesley, Just wondering if you and your council would like to support the residents and businesses of Creswick and get started on the Creswick MTB trails and Hammon Park upgrade? 1632 days have passed since the initial funding (which now totals nearly $5m) and we are yet to see a single meter of trails. The economic benefits are there and local businesses are suffering. If we want to keep tourists coming to the shire, projects like this need to take precedence. We are sick of hearing empty promises.
