Rhyme Time
Baby Rhyme Time is a great place for our youngest book fans to come together and enjoy a story, a song and maybe a puppet or two with our staff:
- Daylesford 10:30 am Monday
- Creswick 10:30 am Tuesday
- Trentham 11 am Wednesday
- Clunes 11:30 am Thursday
Please note, these sessions do not run during school holidays.
Storytime
Storytime is for preschool-aged book fans who love an interactive and fun storytelling experience:

Stitch and yarn
Bring your latest craft project along and meet with friendly locals at this casual weekly catch-up.
- Daylesford - 10 am to 12 pm Wednesdays
- Creswick - 10:30 am to 11:30 am Fridays.
School holiday programs
Each school holidays we offer a variety of events and activities for school-aged children. These activities are finalised close to the holidays, with summer holiday activities occurring in the latter part of January. Visit our school holidays page to see any up-coming opportunities. You can also check in with library staff or pick up a leaflet from your local library.
Tech Talk and Tea
Our digital literacy program Tech Talk and Tea is back!
Come along and build your tech confidence and skills in a friendly setting.
These free sessions are supported through a grant from the Good Things Foundation.
Dates and times:
Sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 17 March 2026.
Please note, sessions in Daylesford are held at the Council Customer Service Centre cnr Duke and Albert sts, (not the Daylesford Library) run from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Sessions at the Creswick Hub run from 2–4 pm.
Bookings are not required.

Learn about helpful apps for your smart device and discover digital library apps including Borrowbox, Kanopy, uLibrary, Libby, Storybox and more.
Tuesday 21 April: Staying Safe Online
Learn how to avoid scams, report them and stay safe while browsing and shopping online.
Tuesday 28 April: Artificial Intelligence and You
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is here! Learn the basics and experiment with ChatGPT in this user-friendly session.
Tuesday 5 May: Connecting with others (Daylesford only)
Your smart device is a powerful tool for keeping in touch with loved ones. Learn about video calling, texting and sharing photos with family and friends.
