Council has engaged CollectAU to assist in the recovery of rates and charges which are overdue from the 2024/25 financial year. If you receive correspondence from CollectAU regarding outstanding rates via email, post, or SMS, please contact CollectAU as soon as possible to discuss your options.
The Fire Danger Period for Hepburn Shire started at 1 am on Monday 24 November.
Our hubs and libraries will be closed on Monday 26 January. Bin collections, transfer stations, visitor information centres and pools are not impacted.
Council offers elective waste collection services for commercial and industrial businesses. This service is an extension of Council’s household waste collection service and is for domestic waste only.
Please note, waste generated from industrial or commercial operations, such as offcuts, construction material, metal or timber is not accepted in kerbside collection.
For commercially rated businesses within township boundaries, Council offers the opportunity to elect to receive the following services (can elect some not all):
The annual waste management charge for 2025/26 is $230.
Additional bins are available (*on request and with payment) if there is the ability to present kerbside and not impact on footpath and parking.
