The Fire Danger Period for Hepburn Shire started at 1 am on Monday 24 November.
Please be advised that Council hubs and libraries will open from 10 am to 12 pm, close over lunch and reopen in the afternoon. Trentham Transfer Station will open at 10 am, one hour later than usual.
Council has engaged CollectAU to assist in the recovery of rates and charges which are overdue from the 2024/25 financial year. If you receive correspondence from CollectAU regarding outstanding rates via email, post, or SMS, please contact CollectAU as soon as possible to discuss your options.

Congratulations to Creswick Amateur Theatre Group, Trentham Sustainability Group, St John Ambulance (Daylesford), Pavilion Arts & Sustainability and Kingston Friends of the Avenue, who will all share in $8,924 as part of the fourth and final round of Council’s Community Grants for 2020/2021.
“Our community grants can make a big difference for local groups and organisations to deliver projects that benefit our region. We’re pleased to be able to support such a variety of local projects for our community,” said Mayor, Cr Lesley Hewitt.
Council approved five applications for funding and has awarded $65,000 through the community grants program in 2020/2021.
