It is with a sense of sadness that we will say goodbye to Bradley Thomas, our Chief Executive Officer who tendered his resignation on the weekend. Bradley Joined Hepburn Shire Council in 2019 and was appointed as CEO in 2021. It has been a challenging five years, leading our organisation through major change on a path to sustainability.

Such journeys are always difficult, requiring tough decisions which are often far from popular. Implementing the Council decisions, Bradley has always acted with respect and integrity.

Moving onto his next step in his career, I personally want to wish Bradley all the best for his new journey, and I know he will make a great contribution in his new role. I want to wish Bradley and his family all the best for the future.

Council will now commence a recruitment process which is likely to take six months. We will need to confirm an interim CEO role while the recruitment process commences, and this will be our priority.

While one door closes a new one opens, and I am looking forward a fresh start with exciting innovative ideas and approaches for Council.
