Hepburn Shire Council staff are returning to the office today after a year and half working remotely due to State Government COVID advice and mandates regarding vaccinations.
Bradley Thomas, CEO, said that it was great to have the majority of staff back in the office after such a long time working remotely.
“While a number of our workforce such as outdoor workers and community care staff have been continuing their roles throughout the pandemic, the majority of office staff have been working from home.
“We appreciate the support given to us by the community over the last eighteen months, particularly as we have had to adjust the way we deliver a number of services.
“Our workforce is double vaccinated and returning to the office has been managed to ensure that staff are kept safe with additional cleaning and rules around the number of people permitted in particular spaces,” said Mr Thomas.
