Learn how to spot scams, protect your personal information, and stay safe online with practical tips from Crime Stoppers Victoria.

Join Crime Stoppers Victoria for an important and informative session on recognising and responding to elder abuse. This workshop helps community members understand what elder abuse is, the different forms it can take, and the warning signs to look out for.

Elder abuse can include financial, emotional, physical, or social harm, and is often carried out by someone the person knows or trusts . Many cases go unreported due to fear, shame, or lack of awareness, making community understanding and early action critical .

You’ll learn how to have safe conversations, where to seek help, and how to report concerns anonymously through Crime Stoppers. The session also highlights the shared role we all play in protecting older people and supporting their independence and dignity.

Suitable for all community members, this session provides practical knowledge to help you look out for others and take action if something doesn’t feel right.
