Pathway Essentials is an organisation that provides case management to young people who are disengaged from school and work.
Last year they launched the Cooked Coffee Van at the Masonic Hall in Daylesford for coffees and lunch on Thursdays and Fridays. The young people are employed, and develop skills in hospitality, as part of the program.
Two weeks ago they expanded and opened a cafe with Brew Jays called 'Cooked Diner'. It is located between the Salvation Army and St Vinnies on Howe Street. It’s a perfect spot for casual meetings or just getting a coffee made by the talented young baristas!
Our youth team has been having great discussions with Pathway Essentials for supporting their fantastic work.
