Expressions of Interest for Independent Committee Members for Hepburn Shire Council’s Audit and Risk Committee
Hepburn Shire Council has an Audit and Risk Committee that advises it on matters of financial accountability, good governance, internal control and risk management.
Due to the terms of two current members ending, Council is seeking suitably qualified independent committee members to join its Audit and Risk Committee.
Council is seeking to appoint two (2) Independent committee members to the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) for a four (4) year term. Members have the options to service a second term.
The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge and experience in the public sector management, understanding of large organisations, and an understanding of financial management, risk, reporting and good governance practices. An inquiring mind and the ability to analyse information will assist in carrying out the obligations of this position.
