Township based projects

Township Structure Plans are being developed to protect and enhance the existing character of our townships and rural settlements and to guide appropriate growth and development to 2050. They will seek to develop a shared vision that protects what we value, improves liveability, while empowering the community to thrive.

With community input we are developing structure plans for the five main townships - Clunes, Creswick, Daylesford & Hepburn Springs, Glenlyon and Trentham. Township structure plans will guide how our towns look and feel into the future and will be the culmination of all this work and the conversations we will have with the community over the coming year.

Township Structure Plans will be informed by the other projects delivered as part of Future Hepburn. These include shire-wide strategies, place-based projects specific to each of the townships and a range of technical studies and reviews.

You can view these all these projects and get involved in shaping the future of our Shire at Future Hepburn on Participate Hepburn.
