This free event is for people aged 55+ and is held as part of the 2023 Victorian Seniors Festival.

Australia is a land of symbols. The Southern Cross. The Sydney Opera House. The kangaroo. Vegemite. But what do they actually mean? Where do they come from? Why are some symbols so hotly contested? Does Australia have more than its fair share?

Co-Editor of Symbols of Australia, Richard White, will visit The Warehouse - Clunes and talk about the symbols that surround us and the way that they change over time.
